To make the story a bit more interesting, I had worked for the same firm five years earlier as the supervisor of their database group. Since that time the firm's assets <!--more-->have contracted substantially, losing roughly 60% of its value and the systems department has gone through a major management shift.  In a one year period three out of five of the systems division's managers chose to \"pursue new opportunities\" and a new CIO took the reins.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, in the six months prior to my arrival, the four person business intelligence team went from being a tight knit group, being loyal to their manager to having an almost passive aggressive stance, fighting him at every turn.<\/p>\n<p>Hmmmm.
